Bwindi Impenetrable National Park covers 321 square kilometers of pristine rainforest, straddling altitudes from 1,160m to 2,607m at the edge of the Albertine Rift Valley. This UNESCO World Heritage site is aptly named for its thick, challenging terrain that creates a natural fortress for its precious inhabitants.
