Mountain Climbing in Uganda

Uganda is the true pearl of Africa, endowed with hills, picturesque valleys, and mountains which offer memorable mountaineering experiences. From the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains to the volcanic Virunga ranges, hiking in Uganda is a test of strength and an accomplishment that will leave you prouder than before.

Day 1: Drive to Sipi Falls

Drive to Sipi overlooking Mount Elgon. Enjoy the view of the plateaus and the three outstanding Sipi waterfalls.

Day 2: Hiking Sipi Falls

Hike to the waterfalls through fruit plantations and villages. You can opt for a short or a longer route. One waterfall is great for a quick shower and a cold swim.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala

After breakfast, drive towards Jinja for a lunch stop and continue back to Kampala or Entebbe.

Day 1: Transfer to Kisoro

Scenic drive from Kigali to Mutanda Lake Resort in Uganda.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

Experience your own 'Gorillas in the Mist' moment in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking

Track the rare and endangered Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Day 4: Hiking Mount Sabinyo

A challenging 8-hour round trip to the summit where you can stand in Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo at the same time.

Day 5: Return to Kigali

After breakfast, transfer back to your accommodation in Kigali or to the airport.
