Booking Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all trips organized by The Safaris Hub. By making a booking with us, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.

A.1 Your Reservation: When you make a booking, we will provisionally reserve your trip. A binding contract exists once we receive your deposit and send a Confirmation Invoice. Please check all documents immediately for accuracy.

A.2 Our Price Policy, Payment Terms and Surcharges: We reserve the right to alter prices before confirmation. Deposits are typically 50% (75% for gorilla safaris) and the balance is due 30 days before the trip. We reserve the right to apply surcharges due to changes in transport costs, taxes, or exchange rates, but not within 30 days of departure.

B.1 If We Change Your Arrangements: We expect you to be flexible. For any "Significant Change," we will offer an alternative trip, a lower standard trip with a refund, or a full cancellation with a refund. Compensation may apply.

B.2 If We Cancel Your Arrangements: In the unlikely event of cancellation, we will provide the same alternatives as above. We will not cancel less than 14 days before departure unless for reasons beyond our control. If a trip is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, we will inform you no later than 7 days prior, and a full refund or alternative trip will be offered.

C.1 If You Change Your Booking: Inform us in writing. We will try to accommodate changes, but they are subject to availability. Administration charges and any supplier costs will apply.

C.2 If You Cancel Your Booking: You must write to us to cancel. Cancellation charges will apply based on the notice period. You may be able to transfer your place to someone else, subject to an amendment fee and any extra costs.

Our liability for improper performance is limited. We are not liable for failures due to you, a third party, or unforeseeable circumstances. Our liability is limited to a maximum of two times the cost of your trip. We are not responsible for optional excursions booked during the trip.

F.1 Special Requests: We will do our best to meet special requests but cannot guarantee them unless confirmed in writing.

F.2 Documentation: You are responsible for all passport, visa, travel insurance, and health certificate requirements.

F.3 Health & Safety: Consult your doctor for vaccinations. You must be fit for the trip and adhere to all safety instructions. Standards of accommodation and medical care may differ from your home country.

F.4 Insurance: Appropriate travel insurance (including medical, air evacuation, and repatriation) is mandatory.

F.5 Behaviour: You are expected to behave responsibly and respect local laws and customs. We reserve the right to remove you from a trip for poor behavior.

F.6 Flights: You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from the trip's start point.

Complaints: If you have a complaint, bring it to our staff's attention immediately. If not resolved, follow up in writing within 4 weeks of your return.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control: We are not liable for changes due to war, natural disaster, terrorist activity, etc.

Data Protection: We collect necessary personal data and may share it with our service providers. We will not share it for other purposes without your consent.

Publicity: We reserve the right to use photos and comments from the trip for promotional purposes unless you withhold consent.
